Hello! My name is Natalie but I go by Tani. Natalie Brown was born in New York, where she began her dancing career dancing in her mom and dad's apartment. When she was 5, she moved to Georgia still dancing all over the house . Once Tani turned 6, her mom put her in a leotard and ballet shoes and sent her to dance at Atlanta ballet . Tani danced at Atlanta ballet until she was 10, to further her ballet skills. Then, her parents wanted to move, so she stopped dancing for a year. When she turned 12, her parents sent her to Dance Makers of Atlanta. Unfortunately, she danced there for a year . This studio did teach her hip hop. At this time Tani was 13 and could only do hip hop and ballet . Her mom then put her into Dance Academy West, where she danced from 13 to 17 . This studio was great ! Tani was on the competition team and won so many awards . They had the girls working so hard. Tani gained flexibility and strength at this studio . Not only was she stronger in ballet, but she also learned : jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical , and acrobatics. Then, Anthony Burrell, Beyonce' choreographer,

 opened up a studio in Georgia . Tani was ecstatic to attend; she auditioned and made it . Here, she learned modern and learned tools to dance in the professional world. Anthony made modern a ground for all other dance and now, Tani concentrates in modern at Kennesaw State University . Tani majors in dance and business to one day be able to open up her on dance studio.
